Personal on the hill:
- Walking boots (waterproof) - boots preferred rather than shoes/trainers
- Warm socks
- Waterproof coat
- Waterproof trousers
- Suitable walking clothes – synthetic is best; no jeans
- Spare fleece, warm hat and gloves (in sturdy bin liner)
- Water bottle (at least 1.5 litre)
- Headtorch with spare batteries
- Rucksack
- Sufficient food for lunch and snacks
- Emergency food
