CUHWC Introductory First Aid Course

About the trip

CUHWC is organising a First-Aid Course for regular members. Some notes:

1. This course is targeted at regular members, with the objective that the skills learned will contribute to the club's safety culture and preparedness. We highly recommend members that lead regular walks, but do not have any first-aid training to attend this course. The course curriculum can be found here.

2. The cost of the course will be between 15-25GBP (to be settled post-signup). We are very grateful to the Andy Gibson Training Fund (AGTF, see here) for subsidizing this event.

3. The course will run from 0900-1800H, in/nearby Cambridge. Our standard refund policy applies - so please ensure you have availability for the whole day. Please do reach out if you have any questions.

4. As this course is partially sponsored by the AGTF, information about your involvement with the club is required (ie how many trips have you been on, have you led any club trips as a walk lead, pub meets etc). Please add this in the 'comments' section.

5. As this course should be subsidised by AGTF, information about which college you belong to is required. Please type "Not student" if you are not a student. Please add this in the 'comments' section.

6. As this course is sponsored by the AGTF, by signing up, you agree to, if you get a place on the course, to write a feedback form for the AGTF.
